 Working from home is something I have done for years now; so wanted to share the items I find very useful. And it is not just yoga pants and instacart.

...Speaking of yoga pants; I have countless pairs. The brand I feel beats them all and is the best is Lululemon. I love how you can choose to have a high waisted pair. I am tall and the full-length leggings work great for me. I wear them to "work" all the time.

Great toys are so underrated! These days children love to be on electronics...my little one included. Therefore; I am constantly on the hunt for new or cool toys or things to do. When I can find something for the home; double win. 

Having toys and projects to keep my son busy helps me a lot throughout the day as well. I can not tell you how many times a toy my son loved kept him busy for hours while I worked from home, took a shower in peace or was able to get chores done. They come in handy for parents; too. 

Parents love seeing a smile on their children's face so that is what matters to me most. I enjoy finding toys that can last years as well as keep my child entertained. We do quite a bit of play dates and my son's friends come by often so they love playing with unique toys that have not seen yet. Warning: These toys may attract lots of neighborhood friends. You may even be the best playdate host; ever.

Stylish Stollers

 

Some must-haves I need in a stroller is enough room at the bottom to store my diaper bag; plus any bags I add. It would be annoying to shop at a mall and the compartment beneath the stroller would not be large enough to fit anything. Some would even tip over easily once you take your baby out and items are below. I prefer in investing in a stroller I can get more use out of these days.

Another feature I love in a stroller is a cup holder. Not one; but two. I need one for my cup and one for a sippy cup or bottle. I ran into this issue with strollers in the past I tried. I would go to places like zoos where you need water but the strollers we tried in the past only had one small, flimsy cup holder. Now I prefer strollers I can store items and focus on just pushing the stroller and trying to haul other items.

Strollers that grow with your child saves you money in the long run. We still were using the stroller when my son was five and we would go on long walks or trips to amusement parks. We love going to festivals in the fall so a stroller sure comes in handy. I did not think I would use it past toddler years but I sure do! 

Strollers also make for great push presents and baby shower gifts! If you get a new stroller; be sure to practice folding it when you are done using it. I had a bad experience once trying to figure one out after a long outing with my baby. Some are tricky to fold down once you need to put it in your car after using. Usually once you figure it out once; you're good to go!

Bottle Feeding

 I did breastfeeding and eventually went to bottle feeding. I would pump the milk...and it was a lot of work! I applaud you breastfeeding and bottle-feeding moms! 

I had no idea breastfeeding and feeding in general was so much work. I felt like breastfeeding was a full-time job; although it was rewarding and amazing. I would not change the experience for anything in the world. Some moms do struggle with breastfeeding so I have found great products online to help them out a bit.

No parent should be shamed for if she chooses bottle-feeding. When I went from breast to bottle; it was best for my baby and I. I was getting very stressed not producing enough milk for my new baby. I was a new mom, overwhelmed and doing the best I knew how. Formula ended up being what I used once breastfeeding was no longer giving me enough milk for how much my son was eating. I did feel awful for years after. Now I know as long as the baby is fed; I did all I could do and the baby is okay.

This is just my personal story in case anyone reading is struggling with feeding; just like I did. You are not alone and there are products that can help you out a bit, hopefully!
